How it works

Create focused question practice without redesigning a page

  1. 01Choose fill-in, matching, or multiple-choice as the worksheet template.
  2. 02Enter each prompt and answer as Question | Answer, one pair per line.
  3. 03Generate and review the student page, especially the distractors in multiple-choice mode.
  4. 04Include an answer key when useful, then print or download the finished worksheet.

Teacher guide

Match the worksheet format to the thinking you want

01

Fill-in answers

Best for open recall. Students must produce the answer without seeing a word bank, making this format useful for short checks and independent review.

02

Matching pairs

Best for connecting terms with definitions, examples, dates, or translations. Use different answers for every prompt so each match is unambiguous.

03

Multiple choice

Best for quick practice or self-checking. The tool draws distractors from the other answers in your list, so enter at least four different and plausible answers.

Classroom ideas

One template, many kinds of review

  • ✓Check understanding after a reading, video, or mini-lesson.
  • ✓Match scientific terms, historical dates, or words and definitions.
  • ✓Create a short retrieval warm-up from last lesson's key questions.
  • ✓Prepare an independent review sheet before a quiz.

Ready to print

You control every question and answer

This generator formats the content you provide; it does not invent questions with AI. Fill-in and multiple-choice worksheets accept up to 20 pairs, while matching supports up to 12. Multiple-choice distractors come from other answers in the same list, so always review the final page for clarity before sharing it with students.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Does the tool write questions for me?

No. You supply every question and correct answer. The generator handles layout, matching order, multiple-choice options, pagination, and the optional answer key.

How do I separate a question from its answer?

Place a vertical bar between them, for example: What is our home planet? | Earth. Use one pair per line.

Where do multiple-choice distractors come from?

They are selected from the other correct answers in your worksheet. For useful distractors, use answers that belong to the same topic and review every option before printing.

Why does matching require different answers?

Repeated answers would make more than one match appear correct. The generator requires a unique answer for each matching prompt.

Can I include an answer key?

Yes. Turn on the answer-key option to add a separate teacher page after the student worksheet.
