About TeachVee
TeachVee provides free classroom tools for teachers. In this policy, “TeachVee,” “we,” and “our” refer to the TeachVee website and its operator. Our current tools do not require an account or subscription.
Information you enter into our tools
You may enter student names, classroom titles, word lists, and worksheet titles. The current tools process this content in your browser. Seating chart content is stored in your browser’s local storage so it can be restored on the same device.
TeachVee does not currently upload this classroom content to a TeachVee database. PDFs are generated on your device. The Word Scramble Generator does not save a history of your worksheets.
Information processed automatically
When you visit TeachVee, our hosting and security providers may process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and error or security logs. This information is used to deliver, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
Cookies and local storage
TeachVee does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. The Seating Chart Maker uses local storage for your most recent chart. You can remove it with the tool’s Reset action or by clearing site data in your browser. Essential hosting or security technologies may be used where necessary to operate the site.
Student and children’s information
TeachVee is designed for use by teachers and other adults. Enter only the minimum classroom information needed to use a tool. Do not enter sensitive student information, contact details, identification numbers, health information, or confidential school records. Teachers and schools are responsible for using the tools in accordance with their own privacy obligations.
How information is shared and retained
We do not sell personal information. Technical information may be processed by service providers that host and secure TeachVee, or disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users.
Locally stored seating chart data remains on your device until you reset the tool or clear browser data. Hosting and security logs may be retained for limited operational, security, and legal periods determined by the relevant provider and our needs.
International use and your choices
TeachVee is available internationally, so technical information may be processed in countries other than your own. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information we control, and to complain to your local privacy authority.
