Easy uses words across and down. Medium also adds diagonal words going down-right. Hard allows all eight directions, including backwards. Use a smaller grid for younger learners.
Each word must fit inside the selected grid. If the complete list cannot be placed, the tool asks you to increase the grid size or remove words. It never silently drops words from your puzzle.
Yes. Enable Include separate answer key before generating. The student worksheet comes first and the highlighted answer key is on a separate page. Preview and PDF use the same generated puzzle.
This version supports English letters A-Z. Spaces, hyphens and apostrophes are removed, so ICE CREAM becomes ICECREAM. Duplicate entries are included only once. Accented letters and other alphabets are not supported yet.
